Our Services
-
Our Component Analysis service provides a precise evaluation of individual parts, such as plastics, hardware, pickups, or electronics. Each element is tested through a combination of material analysis, dimensional verification, and visual comparison against known standards from the correct era. This service is ideal for situations where only specific pieces require verification.
-
Pricing starts at $149.99 for simple plastics and hardware.
-
Our Finish Analysis service provides a detailed, material-level evaluation of an instrument’s finish. By examining the presence and composition of plasticizers, pigments, binders, and mediums, we are able to place the coating within the broader timeline of finishes used on vintage and modern guitars. These comparisons to known manufacturing standards reveal whether the materials are consistent with the period and maker of origin, offering clear context that goes beyond surface appearance.
-
Pricing starts at $499.99, with additional charges for custom colors, one-offs, prototypes, or cases requiring additional complexity. Contact for bulk pricing.
-
Our Full Instrument Analysis is the most comprehensive service we offer, evaluating every critical element of a guitar with scientific precision. The process covers plastics, hardware (excluding mounting screws, saddle screws, and other auxiliary hardware), pickups, finish, electronics, body and neck structures, inlays, and logo materials. Using multiple cross-referencing technologies, we assess whether each material or component is consistent with its expected manufacturing era and aligns with known materials from that period.
Every analysis is documented in a premium leather-bound booklet and accompanied by a detailed digital report, complete with full photographic coverage of the instrument.
